Metta is an all-day, all-year Montessori school. We recognize that caregivers have obligations outside the home that necessitate the need for extended hours. We also recognize that young children need consistency in routines and care in order to thrive. We understand the importance of caring, meaningful relationships in the lives of young children. With this in mind we strive to provide a seamless Montessori experience for the child throughout the day, supported by a professional, nurturing Montessori Guide. We integrate the daily rituals of life with academic work providing opportunities for cooking, baking, gardening, or relaxing on a couch. Metta is a place where children and adults come together to live with each other during their time here. It offers the child all the academic challenges of the Montessori curriculum and the advantages of a homelike environment.
